"GONE TOMORROW" by Lee Child

by JAMES P LYNAM

Another explosive hard to put down thriller with the perfect hero Jack Reacher. Full of action, mystery and a great plot with bad guys you love to hate. This is book 14 in the Reacher saga and one of the best. The reader will be hooked and in for a fantastic read. BRAVO for Mr. Child & "REACHER".

In the Woods by Tana French

In the Woods - a police procedural and psychological thriller by author Tana French

I enjoyed the prose, the characters, and the layered story, and that the author has a keen understanding of human nature.

This sounds like a fantastic story. I read some reviews of it and a story synopsis and it seems like a thrilling, suspenseful novel. Thanks for the recommendation.

Have you read anything else by Tana French? She certainly sounds like an author to keep up with from what I've read. I can't wait to get my next batch of books... I'll definitely be adding her to the list.

If you enjoy a truly realistic fiction thriller with a lot of action and suspense, Lisa Gardner's books are great.

After the Darkness by Sidney Sheldon & Tilly Bagshawe

by Vicki Chrzanowski

I have always been a huge fan of Sidney Sheldon who passed away a few years ago. I was a bit apprehensive with Tilly Bagshawe co-writing. The book was excellent and kept you sitting on the edge. It was written in Mr. Sheldon's style!! 5 star!!!

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

by Kelly

Read this book by Gillian Flynn a few years ago, and it was so so good! Me and my aunt both read it and were like WOW, what a twist ending. Also read her other book called "Dark Places"...also a strange story.

Comments from Webmaster:

Kelly, thank you so much for your recommendations. I've gotten out of the swing of reading great mysteries lately and this is perfect to get me going again.

I checked out Gillian Flynn's website and both the books you recommended and I must say, I can't wait to get my hands on them. They're on my next bookstore list.

If you like strange stories with a twist, you should absolutely try reading some of Jeffery Deaver's books... if you haven't already. Especially his Lincoln Rhyme series– they're fantastic. The first book in the series is called The Bone Collector
