The Trust

New release. This is the author's first book, but has great characters and is set in Charleston, SC. The writing style really brings the setting alive. Neat plot twists and very compelling to read. I found it on Amazon after a friend recommended it.

Our Review:

We received a copy of The Trust from Sean Keefer to review, and I have to say, I was surprised at how much I really liked it. The story started out a little slow for me, so it took a little bit to get into it, but when I did, I couldn't put it down.

Every now and then it's a really nice change to read something that hasn't been done thousands of times before, and this book certainly fits that bill. It is written from the perspective of Noah Parks, an attorney whose current case is handling the last will and testament of Leonardo Xavier Cross.

It’s weird enough that though Noah didn’t know the now deceased Mr. Cross, he was specifically named to handle legal representation for the Cross estate.

Add to that a mysterious safety deposit box that Cross leaves to Noah as part of his payment, random clues about its unknown contents and the seemingly accidental deaths of more than a few people that were either related or involved with Mr. Cross in some way and you have one heck of a story.

Keefer did a fantastic job of balancing the story out with originality, suspense and killer action, as well as throwing in enough plot twists to keep even the savviest of readers guessing at the end game.

If you enjoy a fresh twist on traditional mystery books, read this one. You will not be disappointed. Part of the excitement is not knowing what's going to come next, and I promise that you will be second guessing yourself until you flip your very last page.

Enjoy!

Suspense. Action. Great characters. Originality. What more could you ask for in a fiction book? I absolutely loved this story and recommend it to thriller and mystery fans. It will keep you guessing until the very end.
