Dark Desire is a fantastic follow up to Dark Prince, the first volume in the Dark Series. I loved the raw intensity of this book, and the steaming hot sensuality. It's the kind of gut wrenching, emotional story you can read again and again.

Our Review of the Dark Series: Dark Desire

Wow. This book was fantastic. Jacques was so tortured, full of hatred and rage, and on the edge of insanity when Shea found him. So much that he actually attacked her when she was trying to set him free.

He was so starved... for sustenance and vengeance against those who tortured him. Jacques stole the show, but Shea was far from lost beneath the veil of possessive maleness in Jacques. Her character is strong willed and more determined than ever to solve the mysteries of what she now knows to be her people.

Not only is this book intensely sensual, but it is full of toture and madness and heart-pounding action. Another impossible-to-put-down installment of Christine Feehan's Dark Series. Characters Raven, Mikhail, and Gregori from Dark Prince are also included in Dark Desire, however, it's not necessary to have read Dark Prince to understand Dark Desire.

I don't know, maybe it's my weakness for tortured heroes, but this book tops my list of favorites. I highly recommend Dark Desire if you're a fan of paranormal and vampire romance stories.
